I REALLY do like the app, does what it says, with no real whistles and bells, just the information in a really clear and easy to read format. My only question, and the reason for 4 stars, is the background colouring. The description on Google play, shows the range from 10 being red, to 1 being green, and 0 white. Mine shows a gradient of browns down to 3, and green at 2. I also cannot see a dark mode toggle to turn on/off to see if this is the cause.

It does sound like it could be the cause but without a screenshot it's hard to tell. The app just follows the system theme so if you're using dark mode on your phone, the app will use dark mode colors.

it doesn't seem to use data that accurately represents the UV level of the place you select. in my city today, it is very cloudy and has reached about 2 according to local weather measurements, but the app insists we are at 4 right now. Not accurate. Perhaps only useful as a general "if the sky were clear it would perhaps be this" type indicator. Am uninstalling and looking elsewhere.

Sorry that was you're experience. Unfortunately I don't have any control over the data. Note that cloud coverage does not necessarily reduce UV levels. Thanks!

It should not have taken me trying five apps to find one that supports manual location entry, has a widget, and is free. But this was it!! Only suggestion is to have a more robust settings (a la Samsung's Weather app's widget) that launches from the widget's context menu- as it is now, to change settings you have to make a new widget and remove the old one, and there aren't many useful settings. It would also be nice to just show the city name without the province, as both don't fit in my case.

Thanks, the review is much appreciated! Your suggestions are great too!! Unfortunately this is a hobby project so it's tough to find any time to work on it but I'm definitely adding your suggestions to the list. Thanks again!
