NeonRail is a rhythm game that runs along a neon rollercoaster. The notes ride the rail toward you.

Where the rail curves, the notes curve. Where it banks, they lean. Tap one of the four pads the moment a note reaches the judgment line. Long notes trail a tail behind them, and holding one grinds sparks off the top of the pad. Hit cleanly and the combo climbs while sparks burst above the line.

■ Your own music becomes a chart

Pick an MP3 or a MIDI you already own and the app finds its melody and turns it into a playable chart, right there. It takes seconds. Nothing is uploaded. The analysis and the charting both happen on your device.

Which means any song you love can become a rhythm game you play.
