The Playlist Codex is a personal music catalog app built for listeners who want more than just a queue. It gives you a structured, offline space to organize your playlists with custom tags, personal annotations, and flexible sorting — all stored locally on your device, with no account required.

At its core, the app works like a codex for your music taste. Each playlist entry can carry its own notes, mood tags, genre labels, and discovery date. Browse your collection in compact rows, cards, or a grid layout depending on how you prefer to scan. Switch between four handcrafted themes — two light, two dark — to match your environment or mood.

The home screen is a grid of large section tiles, each leading into a focused area of the app. Navigation is clean and direct: tap to dive in, tap back to return. No side menus, no tab bars cluttering the interface.

A full settings panel lets you control view density, haptic feedback, date formatting, and theme selection with color-coded swatches. On first launch, a brief onboarding screen walks you through the concept in seconds.

Everything runs offline. Your data never leaves the device. No sync, no subscription, no sign-in — just a quiet, organized place for your listening history.
