App: Super simple and easy to use. Very effective design. Ads are not intrusive. Kudos to the developer(s). 👏👏👏 Concept: Wonderful. Being able to help people in my community makes me happy, and I love looking at all the neat things people are gifting! Beds, couches, food, tools, toys, decorations, craft supplies, etc. The only downside to this app is that there aren't more people using it! Y'all... It's FREE! If you need something, ask! If you have something, tell!

1- "Error retrieving posts, please try again later" 🤮. 2- You can only change USERNAME after 123days WTH 🤮. 3- No Dark-Mode 🤮. 4- Notification settings don't allow to choose only the "posts" and exclude the "requests" and vice versa 🤮.

Thanks for the suggestion. Adding a dark mode is on our todo list. I know some people have had success using the trashnothing.com web app instead of the Android app because there are free browser extensions that can automatically add dark modes to any website. If you need help setting this up, you can email me at support@trashnothing.com

Was good but now it takes control of managing when things have been given away. I have only a couple of days to reply to post even when any messages I get just say"pls" or it withdraws the post. It's now changed an item to gifted when I wanted it promised then had a no show. Can't put it back on without advertising it again. Having said that, I do like keeping my messages in one place, but it always had that. Definitely prefer the old version.

Sorry for the confusion. It sounds like you may have received one of the reminder emails that are sent when people haven't replied to messages. The reminder isn't meant to force you to do anything and it has a link you can click to prevent your post from being auto-withdrawn. It's always up to you who you choose to receive your items.
