Trash Nothing works through local, volunteer run communities and not every city or town has an active community yet. The most active communities have members like you who help grow their community by telling their friends and family.

But there are many different independent freebie, buy nothing and freecycling groups that are not supported by or affiliated with Trash Nothing.

App: Super simple and easy to use. Very effective design. Ads are not intrusive. Kudos to the developer(s). 👏👏👏 Concept: Wonderful. Being able to help people in my community makes me happy, and I love looking at all the neat things people are gifting! Beds, couches, food, tools, toys, decorations, craft supplies, etc. The only downside to this app is that there aren't more people using it! Y'all... It's FREE! If you need something, ask! If you have something, tell!

This app itself is fine, but the number of flakes in recent months has skyrocketed, to the point where if somebody says they want to take something there's a 9/10 chance they won't show. I would rather just do a post on the Craigslist free section, or leave something out on the curb. That said, when the app works, and when people show up and participate, it is useful.

I love this app. When I have something that someone else could possibly use it's so easy to advertise. Also, sometimes there is something that is being advertised that could really come in handy so everyone gets a fair chance at giving their reasons as to why they should get it. I love the app also because it means less is going to landfill as one man's trash is another man's treasure. Everyone should have this app
