Memory Word is a memory game and a word game at the same time. Every card hides a letter, and remembering where you saw it is the puzzle.
Most word games hand you the letters. This one makes you find them first, and then hold them in your head.
HOW IT PLAYS
Each card carries a letter in a color, and every color belongs to one word. The first letter of each word starts face up. Flip a card to see what it hides, and if it is the next letter of a word, it stays. Finish a word and its cards fly off the board. Clear every word to finish the level.
A wrong flip costs a try, so the game rewards attention rather than guessing. That is the whole rule set, and the tutorial teaches it in a single round. What grows from there is the board.
A BRAIN GAME THAT STAYS CALM
No level is timed. Nothing counts down while you think, nothing punishes a slow turn, and you can sit with a board as long as you like. The music is relaxing bossa nova and the setting is a jungle treehouse, so a session feels like a break rather than a test.
It is a puzzle game for adults who want something quiet to do with their attention for five or ten minutes. A brain game that is satisfying without being stressful, and a relaxing word game you can play in bed without winding yourself up.
WHAT YOU GET
• Hundreds of levels that grow from three short words to a full board
• Themed word packs: animals, food, home, nature, travel and more
• A daily challenge with a streak and a daily prize, new every day
• Four power-ups for when a board will not give: Hint, Mark, Any Order and X-Ray
• Hearts, so a lost level is a pause rather than a wall
• Three-star scoring on every level
• Ruby, a parrot who deals the cards and is pleased when you win
• A short tutorial that teaches the rules in one round
• Share your daily result with a friend
A WORD PUZZLE THAT USES YOUR MEMORY
Spelling games test vocabulary. Memory games test recall. Memory Word asks for both at once, which is why a board that looks simple can still take a few minutes of real concentration. If you like word puzzles, spelling games, or the classic concentration card game, this sits between them.
It plays well in short sessions. One level is a few minutes, the daily challenge is one puzzle a day, and nothing is lost by putting it down in the middle of a board.
WHO IT IS FOR
If you already play word puzzles and want one that asks a little more of you, this is that. If you grew up on the concentration card game and never found a grown-up version, this is that too. And if you just want a relaxing puzzle game for ten minutes before bed, the boards early on are gentle and there is no clock anywhere in the game.
The difficulty climbs the way a good brain game should: three short words to begin with, then longer words, then more of them on screen at once, until a single board is genuinely worth concentrating on.
Memory Word is free to play. Optional rewarded ads give extra power-ups when you run out, and a one-time purchase removes interstitial ads. It works offline, so it is a word game that still works on a plane.
A relaxing brain puzzle: flip cards, remember letters, spell every word.
