This app is an automatic file sync and backup tool. It lets you automatically synchronize files and folders with Dropbox cloud storage and with your other devices. It is an ideal tool for photo sync, document and file backup, automatic file transfer, automatic file sharing between devices,...

New files in your cloud account are automatically downloaded onto your device. New files in your device are uploaded. If you delete a file on one side, it will be deleted on the other side. It works across multiple devices (your phone and your tablet). If their folders are synced with the same cloud account, they will be kept in sync with each other.

This is how Dropbox works on computers but not on Android. Two-way automatic synchronization should be an essential function of the official app. For whatever reason, it is not the case. Dropsync is here to fill the gap.

All file transfers and communications between user devices and cloud storage servers are securely encrypted and do not go through our servers. No outsiders will be able to decrypt, see or modify any file contents.

Ratings and reviews

I'm owning the Pro version of the app since a few years, but I have NOT installed the Dropsync Pro Key app on my phone. I'm now switching to a new phone, it said back in the day that I don't have to repurchase it when I switch, how to do that? On the new phone it says "install the pro key app", but I cant do so, neither on the new nor the old phone, because on both I would have to pay again. What can I do? Will raise back to 5 stars when fixed. (I have only a single Google account active on my old phone, although it's not the one with which I originally bought it, but it's the one the app is linked as of today - the very same account is active on the new phone). UPDATE: Had to re-add my old account and reinstall Dropsync to get it to work. Seems to be an Android-problem and not Dropsync-specific, therefore raising back to 5 stars. App is great.

Such a good app but recently changed the UI, and the button to toggle folders is so small now that is almost guaranteed to miss hitting it, causing the folder options menu to open. Hope that this can be prevented in the future Update: made the hit box bigger, fixed the issue. Thanks devs!

Does everything perfectly. One suggestion: why not make the auto sync on/off switch next to the sync switch on home page? Or somewhere on that page so it's easy and quickly accessible

What's new

- Updated app to Material Design 3
- Improved background sync scheduling, reduced battery consumption.
- Moved "Instant upload" option from the app settings to folder pair config. Enable this option only where you need it. It has impact on battery.
