very third class app not connected to the tv .please don't install anyone.....

I just downloaded the app and literally 2 seconds in there's full screen adds preventing me from using the remote, the actual remote works so far, why can't you guys put the adds at the bottom or top of the screen, Just realized that the tv have to be on to use the app, if you come out the app and return to turn on the TV the app has to find the TV all over again, and it will not detect the TV unless it's on, what a waste of time.

Works perfectly. App on phone connects to TCL tv automatically without having to find your actual remote, only requires you to enter the code that pops up on your TV into the app on your phone. Easy! Update: When TV is off, it is mandatory to either manually turn it on or with it's remote control. Otherwise, a message comes up stating it cannot find your TV.

What’s new

This release enables the remotes without Infrared support, by using wifi/network to connect to TV. Make sure your TV is switched on, and is connected to the same network and app will auto-detect and connect to the TV.
