About this app

Take a picture of any price chart. ChartGrade reads what's on it - the trend, the levels price actually reacted to, the candlestick patterns it can trace - and tells you how clearly it saw each one.

Then it gives you the call: buy, sell or hold, with a number for how sure it is and the reasoning underneath.

WHAT IT READS

Trend direction and structure. Support and resistance levels, with touch counts. Chart patterns - double top, double bottom, head and shoulders, ascending and descending triangles, rising and falling wedges, channels, cup and handle, ranges and consolidations. Moving averages, RSI, MACD, volume and Bollinger Bands, when they're on the chart and labelled. Timeframes from one minute to monthly.

WORKS WITH THE APP YOU ALREADY USE

Point the camera at your screen, or pick a screenshot from your library. If you can screenshot a price chart from your broker or charting app, ChartGrade can read it. Stocks, crypto, forex, indices and commodities all work the same way. It doesn't need to know which app the chart came from. It just reads the picture.

IT LOOKS PAST THE CHART

Your screenshot is one timeframe, and a one-day chart routinely looks bullish inside a six-month downtrend. One tap pulls the longer view and what analysts have published about the instrument. That part comes from the web rather than from your image, and the app says which is which.

IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT CAN'T HELP

Point it at something that isn't a price chart and it says so instead of guessing. A blurry photo gets a refusal, not an invented analysis. This matters more than it sounds: a tool that always has an answer is confidently wrong some of the time, and you've no way to tell which times.

IT KEEPS A RECORD

Mark how each reading played out - moved as read, moved against, still unclear. The history builds a track record instead of a folder of screenshots, and you can see which setups you read best.

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS, WITHOUT THE MYSTICISM

Chart patterns don't reliably predict prices, and any app telling you otherwise is selling something. ChartGrade describes what the present structure favours and attaches a confidence to it. That's a defensible claim. "This will go up" isn't.
