The My Sub K-12 app for substitutes is part of Tyler Technologies’ Absence & Substitute software, powered by ReadySub. This free app empowers substitutes to review job openings, receive job notifications, and retrieve lesson plans. Available jobs are posted by districts using the Absence & Substitute software, and notifications are sent to substitutes who work in that district.

With the free My Sub K-12 app, substitutes seeking part-time or temporary K-12 employment will be able to access jobs by location, job type, and classroom. They can also view their past jobs and account information right from the mobile app.

Unable to get notifications from app. I used to received notifications for substitute jobs, now I am unable to receive notifications and can'tswitch the toggle to receive notifications. I checked on the setting from my phone setup and still no luck other than sending me to look for the Absence and Substitute app. which doesn't exist on Android. I hope there is a fix for this.

Horrible APP! Unable to move the toggle to get text notifications. Last year it worked fine. I am receiving emails and phone messages only. Those methods are inconvenient and jobs are gone. Other schools' Apps have the ability to show up on the calendar immediately after accepting. and receiving. Your competitor, the Red Rover App gives all of the above AND sound notifications and texts show up when phone is locked. My Sub K-12 does not have an unavailablility feature. Your APP needs work!

Terrible app. App repeatedly crashes or doesn't work right. When trying to find a job offer, sometimes it'll take forever to refresh and other times, it won't (no it's not my internet). It's gotten worse to where sometimes if I refresh to see if there is an offer to work, it'll buffer for a bit and then crash. I can't TELL you how many times I have clicked accept on an offer and then the app being delayed and then closing itself and then going back and now the offer is gone cause someone took it
