Good app and cool entertaining concept. However, the "discover" part is very generic in terms of music taste and you will end up comparing the same songs and genres over and over. It would be good if it was tailored to your music tastes. I have most fun when I search for metal artists I like and go through their "bashes" that others have made and submit my own.

The idea is good but the execution is currently very poor. The initial screen asking you to choose 4 artists you like out of 8 (who you may not even have heard of) doesn't set a good tone and it stays lazy from there - song snippets sometimes don't even contain the chorus, and the add to playlist and follow features are really poorly executed. In general the app is poorly executed.

The issue with the artist selection is still there, yet it is not too much of an issue considering that you can simply unfollow them later in favor of other artists. The much bigger issue is the music taste of the community which is mostly confined to Rap etc. While there are challenges/events specifically targeting other genres, e.g. latin songs, users submit German rap and get significant upvotes for it. Unless this is fixed, I believe the app is unusable for me.
