About this app

Cboard is a free AAC web application for children and adults with speech and language impairments, aiding communication with symbols and text-to-speech. Cboard works on modern browsers and is available on a wide variety of platforms, including desktops, tablets and mobile phones. Cboard can be edited depending on the needs of each user. You can delete, add, or rearrange content through the settings section of the app. Offline support is available on Google Chrome (desktop & android). With more than 3400 symbols from the Mulberry Symbol Set, you can create your own custom boards for different situations in life. Cboard also comes with support for 33 languages, support varies between operating systems.

a good aac! im not disabled, i actually just like using it as a text to speech soundboard, and i can make custom tiles for free! however, i have 3 requests; 1: please use the new image picker, the old fullscreen one makes cboard restart since i have sorta low ram, and the new one that just pops up from the bottom would fix my issue! 2: make copy and paste free, my trial hasnt ran out yet but copy and pasting is basically essential. 3: add a suffix bar, because i want good grammar and plurality

Best part of this app is it is free! Other aac programs are $250 or more or they charge you monthly. This one is completely free! I love that you can edit and customize everything and you can upload your own pictures.Make sure you are logged in when you edit your board or you may loose your progress! Also when we changed devices our boards did not save. I am not sure if I was not logged in, if it was a glitch or if the program does not allow for this.

Good program, and even configurable by my 5yo. ... But now and surprisingly requiring an upgrade to a subscription!? (Not just registration) And no mention of this for all of these features on the website. And the notification on app is not grammatically correct in English US or otherwise. Was this addition of subscription authorized? I will be diving into the (open) source code to be able to make what I need if this is how it will remain. Disappointed.

We improved board synchronization, especially for boards and folders containing custom images. This update fixes an issue that could prevent some boards from syncing correctly and improves overall synchronization reliability.
