Absolutely useless for planning complex journeys. Okay, I needed to know what buses went where from Torquay ie. the equivalent of the printed timetable on the wall at all bus stations. It won't let you know where the buses go unless you already know where the buses go. ADD AN "ALL SERVICES FROM THIS STOP" BUTTON PLEASE

Used to use this app with no problems. Tried installing on samsung galaxy 8+ even though it says it's installed I cant find it anywhere on my phone and the only way to use it is by going to the playstore and opening it. Useless!! Ive uninstalled it via the playstore only and tried multiple times to install it properly to no avail. Won't appear anywhere on my phone. Useless!!

Booked a ticket and it took the money but didn't send an email or even show my ticket in "my bookings" went to help section and none of the buttons there work. Will try to sort it out but it's not a good 1st experience, if i can sort it out and it doesn't happen again I will review it better. Edit: phoned and it got sorted quick,customer service is great 👍👍

Absolute rubbish. Who is the genius behind this absolute nonsense app? The user experience is like weather in London. I can't pay for my ticket because I cannot type my card details as some random numbers appear from nowhere. For how long the IT team cannot fix this problem??? Perhaps hire someone who can do something about this disappointment. NE is pretty large company and it is very disappointing to see this type of service.

I love this app. Have been using it for a while and overall love it. it's great for booking tickets and keeps you well informed on offers and update you on your upcoming journeys via email. recently, though, it keeps crashing as soon as I get passed the loading screen. Help!

Not possible to log in with my account, my tickets are not visible in app. If I retrieve two tickets crashes and can't be started again until I reinstall or delete data. Coach tracker always down, too busy says the message.

Fast, reliable, well-designed. Generally it seems transport companies have rubbish apps, but this one is great. I have only one suggestion - it would be nice if one didn't have to type in their coachcard number every time they book a ticket.

I have to join the disappointed team. I tried to book a ticket. Firstly, near me functionality was not working, then it timed out on searching results for given routes several times. My broadband connection at home was stable at the time. Shame.

Mainly use the tracker. Previous version was good. None of the jump links work. Trying to zoom in on the map is tedious at best. If you do manage to get the view you want, the next time it refreshes it goes back to the overview. After a screen lock the app goes back to the home screen so you have to search for your coach again.

App is good but could be better. For example if you track your booking and you have a change in that journey the booking disappears after you get to where you change. Also it would be good if we could pin coaches we are tracking to the coach tracker home as it would be more convenient instead of having to search for it again!

I do not normally do reviews, but this has to be one of the worst apps. Since update it constantly crashes. If it's not improved they will lose business.

Downloaded the app for the first time, as the website is just slow...but the app won't even load my options when details are entered. How embarrassing. Useful to students...not really. Terrible app.

Booked my tickets fine, now every time I open the app to check the tickets/look for other journeys the app opens, displays the National Express logo then closes itself. So now I can't view my tickets or book new ones without having to through my emails/the website making the app utterly useless.

Great App! The coach tracker function works great and the app does everything I need it too. The UI could be a little better and voucher inputs are non-existent but otherwise ace! 5 Stars.

It's pretty good now they've updated it and it now runs a lot smoother but the only issue I have is that there's no text ticket option like on the national express website which mean if you haven't got a printer to print you tickets you then you have to go to a library or know someone with one, I just don't understand why this is not included on the app it doesn't make sense

I don't know why I see negative reviews... I have this app on my galaxy s8+ and it's run great, you just have to know how to use him, makes my travels much more easy now... thanks

Gives you your tickets, main thing I use it for. Other features need to be improved as others have commented on but for National Express etickets is at least a great start!

Worked fine with no problems on my s7 edge. Would just like the app to be called national express rather than 'coach' in apps drawer but thats a minor grumble

Have been using it regularly, and there are a few issues: 1. Does not seem possible to book a few tickets at once, in particular, the option of repeating a previous booking resets all settings: departure/arrival times, number of passengers, etc. 2. No option of storing a coachcard number, so every time you have to type it in. 3. The biggest issue is when a payment card number is being typed in, it messes up with it: after the 1st digit of every 4-digit block it appends the previous 4 digits. This looks extremely dodgy to be honest.

Really useful if you want to waste your time. Moderately useful if you are a software developer and want to see how NOT to design a quality program. No use at all if you want to book tickets, track a bus or anything it claims to do.

virtually useless app. Named Coach instead of National Express so it was not easy to find in my list of apps. Then after adding existing booking, I closed the app and then when trying to open the app again, it shows the splash screen and then closes. Rebooting the mobile did not help. I uninstalled it and then installed it again and was asked to enter the booking information again. Then got the same problem, splash screen shows and then apps shut down. Would be better to have some sort of login and that way you do not enter the information again and one could add trips using a web browser or on the app so that it would remember trips booked. Luckily I downloaded the trips using PassWallet so can use that to show the ticket on my phone.

Very good app to see what stops you're doing on your journey and the times you're expected to arrive. As well as keeping our ticket number and it's QR Code on if you delete the email confirmation etc. no matter what, if you have the app, you have the ticket. Great app and has all I needed it for on this occasion and layout was simple enough! Thank you!

There is no timetables option just journey planner. I would also like to see which cities the buses stop in. Easy to use but too basic

App works OK. Coach tracker very useful. But I wish it would save the card numbers so you don't have to put it in time and time again very frustrating.

Utter filth. Chose my fare then had to skip through pages of departure times as there are no filtering options when selecting departures. Tried to pay by debit card which failed for reasons unknown. Tried to pay by PayPal which failed for reasons unknown. May as well have not bothered, this is total crap. Then, 10 minutes later, checked my banking app only to find that I've been charged for both attempted transactions despite each returning a failure message and still no ticket.

Within five minutes while on the road I managed to both purchase a new journey and retrieve a previously purchased one. From Germany. Great app, intuitive convenient easy to use.

Easier way to book tickets at anytime anywhere you like and I will be using this app more often for work

When you go out of the app to check dates and times, it can sometimes reset you to the beginning of the process. Other than this, I've been booking using it for a while now. I'd suggest adding the feature to save the coach card so that you don't have to manually input the number each time. Also, maybe improvements to the way the date and a time picking works to make it smoother and easier would be good. Thanks for making the app though! Definitely makes the process easier by mobile! A few tweaks, and it will be perfect!

Great update! Use to be very annoying to use but this works

App has a bug when making multiple bookings back to back and using a coach card. In the second booking it asks you to enter coach card number but it says it's already been added even if it hasn't! Made me miss out on my coach card discount for one of the bookings!

Like the app but wish could save fares I've looked at so only have to go to account and book when ready rather than have to start over every time.

Since the app has been revamped, the coachtracker doesn't work. It did before!

Coach tracker is useless and has incorrect schedule times. Each coach has a tracker but constantly says unavailable! What is the point in having one? Just don't want to tell customers it's an hour late!

Had to pay an additional £5.50 to change my booking to a day before, because the app decided to pick the next day instead. There was no way of being able to look at the entire booking before confirming payment - you had to pay first and then it reveals your journey details. Feeling ripped off. :(

I don't see why people complain about this app it's brilliant really helpful makes it easy you have your e-ticket right there rather than carrying bits of paper around with you
