About this app

VLPlay plays the videos on your phone and tablet, whatever the format.

Built on the libVLC engine, it opens files other players refuse: MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV, WebM, MOV, MP4, M4V, TS, M2TS, MTS, 3GP, MPEG, VOB, OGV, DivX, Xvid and more, with HEVC, VP9, AV1 and many other codecs.

BROWSE YOUR VIDEOS
• Videos tab lists every video on your device, with length and resolution
• Folders and playlists keep your collection organised
• Files tab opens any video from your phone, SD card or a cloud storage app
• Play network streams: HTTP, HLS, RTSP and RTMP

WATCH THE WAY YOU LIKE
• Picture-in-picture: keep watching while you use other apps
• Scrubber previews show the frame before you jump
• Aspect ratio, crop and rotate presets, like VLC
• Playback speed from 0.5x to 3x
• Switch audio tracks and subtitles
• Every video reopens where you left off, with the same speed, picture and tracks
• Swipe to seek, adjust brightness or volume; double-tap to skip 10 seconds
• Lock the controls so nothing pauses by accident

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no ads, no tracking
• Your videos never leave your device
