Each entry amount defaults to "monthly" amounts, but you can select other frequencies such as annual, weekly, bi-weekly, etc.
Provides inputs for all fields for the simplest and most complex calculations. NO Internet connection required to operate (except to "share" results)! Great for courtroom use!
Produces simplified versions of DC-637, 638 & 640 Forms and new "Unified" form where the old forms don't apply.
Extensive help available for the entire process as well as field-by-field help.
Works on small and large screens in portrait modes. BUT design is optimized to work on small screens (primarily phones). Allows choice for both "light" and "dark" themes.
If you like the app, please rate it with lots of stars with Google. That will increase the number of possible users who see the application and allow us to continue to develop for a larger user base.
If you have ANY problems with the app, PLEASE DO NOT leave negative comments with Google. Tell us directly so we can do something about it. Email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll get back to you as quickly as we can.
This program was designed and tested by people who have been thoroughly trained in how to calculate child support. Please be sure you also are trained or check out the results with an attorney, mediator, or court official. Most importantly: This app is NOT a substitute for obtaining legal advice from an attorney who can provide legal advice as it relates to your specific situation.
The VASupportCalc.com project is sponsored by Resolution Point LLC, a mediation and CDFA (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst) firm located in Northern Virginia. While we've taken extensive measures to test this application and the results, your use of the application indicates your willingness to be ultimately responsible for the calculations and how they're used. There's never any harm in double- and triple-checking!
TO PRIOR OWNERS OF CHILD SUPPORT 2014 APP:
When you first starting using the app, we let you know that significant updates to the app would not happen automatically and you would have to buy newer versions.
However, we tried very hard to make this 2018 update that would allow existing users to get the benefit of the new app without paying anything extra. After all, we're not making a living off of any of the work we do with support calculators.
Despite our best efforts (and days of hitting brick walls), we were not able to send this to Google as an update. It has to be considered a new app. We feel very badly about this.
If you are a prior owner of the app and are even slightly annoyed that you are being asked to buy the app again, you have two choices. One choice: You can continue to use your existing 2014 app. As of 7/1/18, the calculations are still accurate. You'll be missing some additional functions and you won't be able to do the new "multi-schedule" calculations. But the app WILL work and the calculations ARE ACCURATE (at least until the next statute change).
Your other choice: let us know of your situation by email (email@example.com). We'll work to find a resolution that you're satisfied with (including a full refund).
