for the last several updates (roughly the last year) I've had nothing but problems with viber. I've had this app since 2013 and have moved all of my family to this app. I've reached out about the problems & now they're worse. messages aren't going through at all, calls aren't going through. it takes 15 minutes of trying to call each other and the only reason she knows I'm calling is her tablet rings. All android devices. when it finally connects it drops the call every 20 minutes. Fix this!

If you want to receive spam ad messages every day, without an option to opt out, this is the app for you. Update: After receiving this answer, to go to some link to open a ticket to opt out, instead of having that option in the app at least, I opened the ticket as instructed, and I got this reply "While you can't opt out entirely right now, you can manage them in your phone settings". So, we made a full circle... there is no option in the app. Lie, after lie. A well deserved 1* now.

Viber used to work very smoothly before. Sending messages, photos, files, videos, as well as audio and video calls were all fast and reliable. I’m not sure about other countries, but in Myanmar and Thailand, both the mobile app and desktop version have become very inconvenient to use over the past few years. Other than simple text messages, media file transfers and voice/video calls have been very problematic for a long time now. Voice messages often take a very long time to reach the other side
