Bimblesound Nights plays brown noise, fan sounds, rain and 41 more sounds, all night, with the screen off.

Every sound is generated on your phone as it plays. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is streamed, so Bimblesound Nights works in airplane mode, uses no data, and cannot go quiet because a connection dropped at 3 a.m.

Still playing when your alarm goes off

Most sleep apps fail the same way: the sound stops partway through the night. Bimblesound Nights runs as a proper media service, and because the audio is generated rather than played from a file, there is no buffer to run dry and no track to reach the end of. On the first run it will show you where your phone's battery settings are, because on some brands that is the last piece needed to keep any app alive overnight.

One price, once

Bimblesound Nights Pro is a single purchase. Not a subscription, not a trial, not a weekly plan. The free version is a complete sleep app on its own: brown, pink and white noise, a working fan, rain, ocean waves, wind, a chime, a drone, the three-sound mixer, sleep timers up to four hours, three saved mixes, and no ads at all while you are trying to sleep. Pro adds the other 30 sounds, the 8 and 10 hour timers, unlimited saved mixes, and removes the banner.

The rain and wind carry their own weather underneath, so the fall gets heavier and lighter over minutes the way real rain does, rather than repeating a fixed pattern. Because everything is generated as it plays, no two hours of it are the same and there is no loop point to hear.

Mix up to three at once

Layer a fan under rain, or brown noise under ocean waves, with a separate volume for each. Save your combinations and load them with one tap. You can export your saved mixes to a file and import them back on another phone.

A sleep timer that means it

Set 15 minutes to 10 hours. The sound fades out over the last part of that time, inside the timer, so a 30 minute timer ends at 30 minutes rather than running on. The timer counts the audio itself rather than the clock, so it cannot drift while your phone sleeps.
