The app does what it's supposed to. I am able to connect to my A229 pro without issue. I just have to turn off Bluetooth to disable Android Auto to ensure that I'm not connecting to my car before connecting to the dashcam. Files download reasonably fast to my phone and the quality of video is great too. The only thing I would like is the ability to watch the videos in landscape mode instead of portrait. All in all, a much better experience than I expected given all the negative reviews.

it kind of works ... if the app has a firmware update item in the menu, then it should do something. But that menu item does nothing. It would be MUCH better if the camera could connect to my local wifi and then let the app connect via that connection. Using these 'device only' wifi connections are normally intended to allow initial setup of the device (to use the local network). update reduced 2 to 1 star. The movies from the front camera that are downloaded DO NOT PLAY on the phone.

Wifi is refusing to connect. Trying to pull video of an almost accident and we cannot connect to the wifi! I was able to before but now it simply will not. I have power cycled, toggled switches, forgot and added again. Im hoping the files are accessible via the sd card but this is a very disappointing app experience.
