WiFi nightmare. I spent 2+ hours over 2 days. I managed to connect once somehow after 1+ hours. I was adjusting settings, and I could see files. Somehow, I disconnected. I never got connected again. Useless and no real means of finding help on their website. I may try email help, but after reading reviews, it seems like a waste of time. I will likely end up returning it in the next couple days.

The app does what it's supposed to. I am able to connect to my A229 pro without issue. I just have to turn off Bluetooth to disable Android Auto to ensure that I'm not connecting to my car before connecting to the dashcam. Files download reasonably fast to my phone and the quality of video is great too. The only thing I would like is the ability to watch the videos in landscape mode instead of portrait. All in all, a much better experience than I expected given all the negative reviews.
