Volkron CheckBook is a ledger to keep track of your bank accounts and manage your finances efficiently. Keep track of all your payments and deposits, control your expenses, and manage your budget. A digital checkbook replacement for the classical paper checkbook. It has an elegant and intuitive design, and supports many currencies and number formats. Update 3-7-26 its been years I have owned this app and this is still the most amazing checking and savings app on the market. I would give it 100 stars if I could. Even has multiple backup options that actually work. I don't work for this company or and I am not endoursed by them, it really is the best app for checking and savings I have ever used. It's also customizable to have as many kinds of accounts you could need.

Update - 5 years later and I still use this app. I have 2 checking accounts and a savings account, you can add all of them to the app to keep track. Highly recommend! Love it! So much better than a register. I hated carrying a register around since I usually use a small credit card wallet. This is the perfect solution. I have my phone anyway and it's super easy to use. Awesome app!

As others have mentioned, this is the perfect simple checkbook. I needed something I could manage 10+ accounts manually. I did not want the accounts hooked into the banks online. One thing I really like is you can enter/create a new category right in the transaction and it goes automatically into the category list. Other apps, every time I wanted a new category, I had to go into categories, create the new category, then go back to the transaction. Great app. Cost effective. Using it daily.

* New periodic (recurring) options: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday of every month. Every 5 months, and every 6 months.
* Configurable PIN lock delay. Set how long the app waits for inactivity, before requiring the PIN again (Settings > Security PIN).
