After 8+ years, it may be time to look another program.. I've introduced joist to a lot of people..when it was a free app with options to upgrade to pro..it was perfect..better than QuickBooks imo..but it's getting to the point it's become a program for the bigger companies, and getting to the point it's as much as quick books.. For what format they're giving you, the price is pushing it..

The new update is less than great. Now when I email estimates to certain email providers, they bounce back. Joist Customer service told me to ask the customers to change their email settings.....why would I ask a customer (whom I probably just met) to jump through hoops so I can email them? I have contacted customer service regarding this 3 times. They haven't been much help at all, basically telling me to just deal with it. Other than that....I like this app. it's very easy to use.

I've been using Joist for several years now. I love the app, use it just about daily. I wasn't aware that you were going to be charging for basic services until I just went to create an invoice and wasn't able to. I'm a little upset that there was NO notice or email that could have prepared us for this, especially because 7.99 per month for only FIVE documents (estimate/invoice) is a little excessive. 13.99 for unlimited invoices is insane. Might as well just use QuickBooks 5 stars to 0 stars.
