About this app

Free calorie counter: count your calories from a photo. Scan your meals, track how many calories per day, and manage your calorie deficit for weight loss — with an honest range, not a fake exact number.

Volumeal estimates the calories and macros of your meals from a single photo. What makes it different: it gives you an honest range with a confidence level, instead of a fake number that's precise to the gram.

WHY A RANGE?
No app can guess the hidden fat or sugar in a dish exactly. Others show "312 kcal" with misleading confidence. Volumeal owns the uncertainty: it shows an interval (for example 445-590 kcal) and a confidence badge (±%). More honest — and far more useful for tracking a trend across the week.

HOW IT WORKS
• Snap your plate: the AI identifies the foods and estimates portions.
• Or type a food name: Volumeal offers matches with their nutrition, you pick one and adjust the portion — no photo needed.
• Fine-tune if needed: adjust a portion with one tap and the range recalculates.
• Add to your journal: your daily calorie goal updates in real time.
Tip: place a bank card in the frame as a scale reference for a more accurate estimate.

VOLUMEAL LEARNS YOUR HABITS
Over time, the home screen tells you where you stand and what's left to eat, with a suggestion tuned to your habits. A weekly recap sums up your averages, your days on target and your weight trend. Photo and voice estimates gradually adjust to your real portions.

RECIPE LIBRARY
Hundreds of balanced recipes, each with a photo, an ingredient list, steps and per-serving nutrition. Browse by category (breakfast, mains, salads, soups, desserts…) or search, add a recipe to your diary in one tap, and save your favourites. You can also build your own recipes, with a photo.
