⭐ Information for health professionals
Whether you are a rheumatologist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, GP, or another type of health professional, Arthritis Tracker can help you make the most of the time you have with a patient. It can help you quickly get an understanding of some the key issues that a young person is facing, leaving more time to discuss treatment options.

“The app is great – I am actively encouraging young people in my clinic to use it. It has huge potential to enhance communication between young people and health professionals, allowing us to better understand the impact arthritis is having on the young person's life and then to treat them more effectively.” (Dr Janet McDonagh, Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatologist, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital)

Must have been a great app, but I was discouraged to use the app and uninstalled immediately, when it says it is made for 13 to 25 years old, I think older people get to experience arthritis more than young people who are aged 13 to 25. So I think it's a bad introduction.

Hi Gabby, You are more than welcome to use this app. Just keep in mind that the information in the app is aimed at 13-25s, but our website has lots of info if you need it. The app was the idea of a teenager, and was developed by our Young People's service, but we can see there's been interest in an adult's one and we're looking into this. Take care

Got no further than reading the data agreement. Any programme that requires that much of a data agreement is not an application I want to use. Also as soon as it said my data would be stored somewhere other than my phone I knew I could live quite happily without this programme installed.

Hi Peter, I am sorry you were not comfortable to use the app. Our approach to data is collecting only what is needed for users to record their ratings and notes daily. We have tried to make our Terms and Conditions transparent and understandable, which means a thoroughly explained process. We will look to make improvements to our T&Cs.

The inclusion of adding a note is a good feature to have. The app is easy to use and even though the target group is the younger folks, I find it very helpful to help me keep track of my condition.
