Mintmark turns your freelance work sessions into a satisfying ritual of dropping coins into a glass jar, making time tracking feel as tangible as saving spare change. Every billable session becomes a physical coin inside the jar, sized to reflect the effort you put in—small coins for quick tasks, larger coins for longer client work. The Jar tab shows a clear mason jar resting on a warm wooden shelf where your collection grows day by day, and tapping any coin reveals the client name, date, and your session note. To log new work, the QuickAdd tab slides out a simple form like a small cash register drawer, ready to capture the client name, duration, date, and an optional note in seconds. Pressing the “Drop Coin” button instantly saves the session and plays a coin-drop animation, giving you a small moment of accomplishment with every entry. All your sessions appear in the Sessions tab as a chronological list of coin cards, each displaying the client’s initials engraved on a realistic metallic face along with the date and recorded minutes. A quick swipe on any session card lets you edit the details or delete it entirely, keeping your log accurate without navigating through complex menus. The Earnings tab presents your dashboard on a miniature chalkboard, where total sessions are shown as a stacked coin count and your total billable hours appear in hand-drawn white chalk, underlined by a playful squiggle. A compact recent list sits just below the chalkboard, showing the last three dropped coins with client initials and dates so you can recall your latest commitments at a glance. As time passes, older completed sessions take on a subtle golden patina and develop a tiny mint mark on the coin’s rim, offering a quiet visual reward for consistency without any checklists or streaks. Empty states are intentionally calm and never instructional: a jar with only a few scattered coins, a wooden tray holding a single empty coin sleeve, or a clean chalkboard with just a faint eraser smudge. Every piece of your session data lives exclusively on your device using local storage, so there are no accounts to create, no passwords to remember, and no cloud syncing required. This keeps your client information private and the app responsive wherever you work, online or offline.
