About this app

WatchVideo unleashes the capability to receive videos from your favorite instant messaging application (WhatsApp(*), WhatsAppBusiness(*)) directly to your WearOs based wearable Smartwatch.
All the videos are ready to be played on your Smartwatch with a modern and dedicated video player.
The transfer of the video file takes place over the bluetooh connection between the SmartPhone and the Smartwatch.
In order to watch and listen media file is required to use a smartwatch at least with an integrated speaker or connected to wireless headphone.
This wearable app is a Companion Application so it requires to install the relative Companion app on your Android smartphone downloaded from Google Play Store.

Functionality:
The Wearable application launches a Notification when a new incoming video message is received.
From the notification is possible to open the app and watching the video media message.
It is possible also to open directly the WatchVideo application and playing directly the video media.
Using the application is possible to fully control of the new media and stored media up to 50 video files.
Is possible to delete single video file using more option feature.
The video is not playing in background when the application turns off or a back key is clicked.

- Mobile app full background application support. The wearable video player doesn't play in background the current video. Instead the video is stopped.

Important : Only WhatsApp(*) official application is supported, not other third-party not official WhatsApp apps.

Requirements: In order to receive video on your SmartWatch:
- "Media Visibility" feature must be enable. Please check whether the Setting >> Chats >> "Media visibility" option is enabled and in case toggle it on.
- Disable "Disappearing messages" in chat where is turned on. For security reason, the optional feature doesn't allow to manage video file then WatchMedia doesn't work with Disappearing messages.

- SmartWatch Wear OS >= 4.0.0.0 version
- SmartPhone Android OS >= 11.0.0 version
- Bluetooth connection between SmartPhone and SmartWatch

Permission:
- Read Media Permission: to read video files from messaging application.
- Service video permission: to elaborate and send video to the smartwatch
- Disable Battery optimization: to receive always on time videos on the smartwatch
