HOW IT WORKS
Once requested, the Waymo car will pick you up from your current location; all you have to do is hop in, sit back, and buckle up. To begin your trip, tap “Start Ride” on the in-car passenger screen where you can also see what the Waymo Driver sees and contact Rider Support at any time.

Ride scheduling
• Set pick up times up to one hour in advance and we’ll be there to get you.

Pick the perfect vibe
• Adjust temperature and select tunes all through the Waymo app or in-car screen display.

Easy door unlock
• Only you can unlock your ride—use Bluetooth to unlock your ride automatically as soon as you’re near. Adjust settings via the My Car Tab in the Waymo app.

Share your trip
• Share live arrival times with friends and family while en route.

Trunk space
• Store your belongings with ample trunk space. Upon exiting the car, the trunk will automatically open to ensure nothing’s left behind.

Multi-stop
• Add multiple destinations to your ride anytime—up to 4 per trip. Or, pull over any time with the tap of a button using the Waymo app or in-car screen.

Eco-friendly
• Do right by the planet when you ride with our all-electric fleet.

Ratings and reviews

It was ok. At first it was good, pickup went well and getting into the car was easy. A little while into the drive the car started to malfunction and kept pulling over. We called ride support and got put on the phone with two people at the same time. We finally got someone to help us, but were in a bit of a rush and so we just got out, though eventually they did get it working. Overall I would say do this more for the cool experience, but know that it is technology and sometimes it won't work.

Fun novelty if you don't have to rely on it, but it takes about 2x as long as a human would to navigate traffic. Got stuck and doubled the ride time and couldn't get a hold of support to get unstuck. I finally yelled at the pedestrian who wasn't in the way of traffic but who the car wouldn't go past. Probably fine away from busy streets or rush hour, but don't rely on this to commute, especially if you have any time pressure at all, even if you think you've left lots of time

Followed their steps to report the issue and even sent a separate message about their car driving multiple blocks away from the original drop off location even though I've had it drop me off at the spot many times before, yet no reply or anything... and its been almost a month. These shows you care nothing about the safety of the rider, or have customer service. Don't waste my time with a 'cookie cutter out' response acting like you care.
