I used the multi destination option and the driver got the notification that we were making 2 stops but once he started driving it only took him to the last stop....i had to pay more than expected. does anyone know if uber offers mutil destination yet since they are obviously way better.

All LYFT drivers are background Checked and cars are verified to be in good shape with good tires, horn, wipers, etc. as well must keep a 4.8 rating or above. Rate 3 or less and you'll never see that driver again (maybe an odor you didn't like?) Enjoy your safe and fun LYFT! TREK! TREK! TREK. LYFT- code TREK!!!

This is a customer relations policy statement. There should be a way to cancel a ride, under a few additional circumstances. 1.) when it takes longer for the LyFt Vehicle to arrive than first estimated. a.) Should have an option to cancel a ride, when the pickup time exceeds 15 minutes. b.) Require Lyft Drivers to drive the posted speed limit, when traffic and conditions allow. 2.) Should be able to add a driver to a Do Not Ride With list. 3.) Some drivers will not change lanes to pass a vehicle, which is traveling well below the posted speed limit, and/or the flow of traffic. a.) Safe driving is important. So is getting We, the Paying Customers, to our destination as efficiently as possible, without avoidable delays.

The app keeps sending spam notifications about credits and sales. Very irritating. They keep telling me they're very sorry and will talk to their developers, but it's lip service. They have shown no intention of fixing it. Doesn't the violate the developer TOS?

Spammy notifications -- the service is great, but the app is extremely annoying. I ended up disabling all notifications from Lyft. Then I have to remember to turn them back on when I request a ride and disable them again afterward. It's something they could easily fix, but apparently can't bother to add a menu option in the settings somewhere. If I didn't have such strong moral objections to Uber I would have abandoned Lyft after the first such notification. I am stunned that they aren't aware that they are deliberately alienating their customers.

It's a good app. However I've had it happen 8 or 9 times. I click arrive and if I have to call them when I get off the phone it says I already picked them up, skipping the part where i have to click confirm pickup even though they aren't even in the car or can't locate them yet. Update still does the same issue if you have to call them it says you picked them up. And it has a hot symbol at times meaning it's busy. I sign in and sit around for 45 mins before I get a request

You can always turn your notification settings off, but you will miss live ride updates when you're waiting for your Lyft or new promotion announcements. This site was designed in favor of Lyft without the people in mind. How can they not have an option to dispute a charge and explain your concern? Instead they list reasons for you and if you click all you see is why they justify your bill. If you need more have to wait for a call which never comes !!!!!And their rides always cost me more how can I pay almost $10 more for a trip today when I have always paid less for it, I really hate the way they treat customers
They removed the Premier option. Too many taps. Tap to arrive. Tap to confirm. Tap here tap there. Unsafe. Keep our eyes and hands on the road, minimally on the phone. And show the whole address. I don't even know which city they want to go to. And show how much I made not jow you charged them. Stupid stupid stupid.
I'm so glad that they finally have enough drivers in my area for me to make the switch. I used to use Uber. However, I truly dislike the lack of tipping on the Uber app as well as the seeming indifference to their drivers and customers that appears to be behind this ongoing decision. I also find the use of pictures and vehicle descriptions that Lyft uses to be extremely helpful. It seems to be the superior app as well as the superior company. I don't regret the switch at all!
Lyft is scamming me out of money. I received a fee for vehicle damage while I was a passenger. I have reached out to their customer service multiple times to try and resolve this, but never received more than a generic response that amounted to haha that's our policy.
They over charged my card for a $2 turned into a $53 ride!!! I'm calling my bank and uninstalling this app. And I'm telling everyone I know about what happened So people will go back to using Urber instead
It's a good alternative to a taxi service, however it's getting more expensive. Higher rates are now becoming a norm here in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, and without any events happening near by. I'm glad I now have a motorcycle, you'd have to be rich to use Lyft as permanent transportation.
When trying to grab a ride, the app constantly goes through contacting nearby drivers...etc. Full bars, GPS is on high accuracy. Many times im not seeing that it found a driver and suddenly a text saying the driver has arrived! Not too happy with Lyft right now.
Multiple times I request a ride and the app will either lag or not communicate to tell me I have a ride. I have been left several times bc of this and have had no way to get to my destination. I dont have a vehicle and this is extremely inconvenient
The app ignored my sound settings, including do no disturb and media volume off. This is just completely unacceptable. It would be good if the app could alert you when your destination is an area where pickup service is not offered - left me stranded recently.
They raised the prices too high and I can't even use my card even if it's inefficient funds on it. It's like the know how much is on it! I only use it because I have to get to work everyday at five am and no bus rides that close to my job but these prices is ridiculous 12$ to go 1 mile and almost 20 just to go 4ml! The freak is this?! I feel like I'm being scammed out of my money.and the only reason I don't use uber is because they do estimations no the exact procedure both of these companies are ripping people off. No body has time for this. I'll take my business elsewhere if this continues.
First time user, found entering setup info on my android cumbersome; also my address is an apt. with a tricky location & neither the pickup confirm. or map didn't acknowledge.also wasn't informed if driver would call first, so I don't know if driver will pickup at apt or at front gate, too far to walk- otherwise it was fairly fast process
$15 hold for up to 5 days EVERY time you use Lyft. Ridiculous. You also can't see the price estimate before you call the ride?!?!? Edit: No, going to that website will not give me an estimate. It says Lyft not available in my area which is not true. The app also sometimes directs my driver to my destination FIRST which results in me canceling the ride. Back to Uber it is.

Who are your UI leads? Fire them. If I can't turn off your spammy discount notifications without it affecting ALL notifications from the app, you have a terrible policy from a UI standpoint. Have fun losing to Uber.
I've never had a problem in the 2 or so years of using Lyft at least 5 times a week. Easy to set favorite destinations, drivers of course have nothing to do with the app but I haven't had a bad experience, can't say the same for Uber. Very grateful that the service exists.
Great app. Better than Uber, mostly because Uber is partially owned by Saudis, and Saudis have laws requiring incarceration and execution of atheists like me. Lyft's app will spam you with ads, one notification every week or two. Solution is Android settings > sound & notifications > App notifications > Lyft > disable all notifications.
There's no way to change the notification settings from within the app. It's really irritating to here a loud post-drive audio trill from lift when I walk into my office. I have to just turn off sound notifications for Lyft on the Android OS level. They should expose that in the app settings screen, and also give more nuanced options
I really want this to work, but there is no way to turn off spammy ad notifications without shutting all notificatiins down at the system level, which given the nature of the app is impractical. The memorial day promo was obnoxious. There was no way to submit this feedback privately.
You always charge more than you show me, more than the driver shows and 34% more than uber. Yesterday for same ride you charged more than a taxi. You also have no real people at customer service. Shame on you for false advertising
Easier to grab a cab. No ability to schedule rides. When I try to set up custom destinations for future rides, it thinks I want to drive from my current location (say home in Dallas) to say, my hotel in NYC and won't save the destination. Useless.
I as a driver with over 4,000 trips and 4.9 acceptance I have an issue with the app for the past two days over 10 emails sent to lyft support and no help what so ever. This is how they treat there users??
The app will not allow me to change my "Home" destination. After each correct input, it enters as the center of the state. This is a HUGE inconvenience since I have just moved.
Customer service absolutely sucks! Good luck trying to apply to be a driver and have an issue. Been applying for weeks. No result. All bull**** emails. These companies serious need to hire people for direct customer support! ASAP
Driver registration fails on my account. It's a glitch on their website. Lyft support was useless after almost a dozen requests for help. This company has grown too fast.
The 3 rimes I've done a Lyft it was great... I tried today and it searched for drivers for 1p minutes before I eventually said "F It... I'll walk" I had to walk 1.5 miles thanks to your lack of service! You advertise service in my area but apparently its not 7 days a week.... 👎
I used to love Lyft, but now after having the same problem occur more than once and no quick response from anyone or even a call from them like I requested. I don't like it anymore. This is the 2nd time Lyft has left me stranded with no timely resolution or response and both times I have had to pay absorbent amounts of money to get to or back to my destination. The driver has NEVER shown up at my house, they always show up 2 streets away. Some times they don't even call. When you try to contact them, they never answer and they say it's the app. What's the point of trying to contact them if it doesn't even work?? Really should fix this because this isn't the first time I've been late to work!
They give out false promotions on google maps. They said my first ride will be free since it was below $15. That was not true in this case. They charged me for the ride and now they are saying they cannot refund me my money and I find that hard to believe since it is a bot I am talking to and not a person. They should really get a person and fix their false promotions!!! Also the driver was great!
EVERYONE BE CAREFUL! The driver in the picture was not the person who picked me up. The profile picture is a woman but the person who picked me up was a man. These were definitely two different people. BE cautious before you get in someone's car.

However I was recently stood up by 2 drivers in one night. Their loss, being able to tip in app is one of the main reasons I use Lyft over Uber. I tip $5 on a $8 ride every time.
Lyft is convenient and usually cheaper than Uber however most rides don't show up in the time quoted. I usually end up waiting 5 minutes longer and sometimes even 10 minutes longer, watching the time estimate jump up and down. The app has sometimes even sent drivers to a different location than where I am at, even when an exact location had been entered. I never end up using Lyft when I need to be somewhere by a certain time because the time estimates are that unreliable.
They promise great pay to the drivers then charge nothing and then take 25% of that nothing before giving it to the driver. It's impossible to drive for Lyft and recover expenses let alone get ahead
I use this daily and the only complaint I have is, their is no section to read all of your reviews that passenger leave for you. It's makes me feel unappreciated, lyft needs to update this problem immediately.
I paid at JFK. No taxi came, none to ask. You call the taxi driver and the answering machine says something you don't understand. I lost my money. None called me back. No option in this app to return the money when you are not picked up. Nice.
