[Infrastructure Guidance Integration]
1. When a vehicle with the IGNomad app installed enters an infrastructure guidance area, the vehicle's IG status information (RSU ID, temporary ID, and guidance ID) is displayed.
- RSU ID: Infrastructure Guidance area identification information
- Temporary ID: Identification information for connection with the IG server
- Guidance ID: Guidance identification information for the IGNomad app's mission information
2. The IG server displays information about surrounding objects detected within the infrastructure guidance area on the navigation system.
3. Integrates with the IG server to display the detailed map geometry within the infrastructure guidance area on the navigation map.
- Downloads the detailed map geometry for each infrastructure guidance area and displays it on the navigation map.
4. Infrastructure Guidance message integration operates in route guidance mode. - Infrastructure Guidance integration messages are based on the vehicle's route driving information (route search results).
- The route sequence found on the smartphone is transmitted to the IG server.
- The smartphone transmits the current location information to the IG server.
- Within the infrastructure guidance area, mission information is received based on the route sequence and current location to ensure smooth traffic flow with autonomous vehicles within the infrastructure guidance area.
- Non-autonomous vehicles with the IGNomad app installed can perform missions downloaded from the IG server.
- The IGNomad app displays mission information downloaded from the given IG server on the map and displays the mission information in a separate UI.
[Smartphone and OBU Integration]
1. For the smartphone app and IG server to work together, a communication (Wi-Fi Direct) connection with the vehicle's OBU is required.
2. Wi-Fi must be enabled on the smartphone.
[Note]
- The latest version of IGNomad (1.0.0) is only available for Android 12.0 or higher. - The OBU may take up to 3 minutes to boot.
- If you launch the IGNomad app while the OBU is running, Wi-Fi Direct will automatically connect.
- If you connect to the OBU while IGNomad is running, you can connect using the Wi-Fi Direct connection button.
