Dark mode "only at night" doesn't work correctly nor does it properly sense night time on vehicles with automatic headlights. Update: Thanks for the response! Unfortunately, disconnecting and reconnecting while driving is not a safe or practical solution, nor is pulling over to fix what is fundamentally a software flaw. Waze seems to require regular disconnects to "fix" things and that doesn't seem to be getting better.

I like this app and would have given it 5 stars, but I’m rating it 4 stars because of how it works with Android Auto. On Android, you can only control it from the car’s screen, which is inconvenient. On Apple devices, you can manage it from both the car screen and your phone, making it more flexible. Waze is great for navigation, but this limitation on Android needs improvement for a better experience. Fix this, and it will be better.

long time Wazer here, but lately this app has been getting worse. There is a bug with zoom level lately where the maps will zoom out so far that alerts don't render, so it's almost useless for anticipating alerts while driving. you can manually zoom in, but it reverts back to zoomed too far out after a minute or so. due to this it's fairly irritating to use while driving lately. it's almost dangerous because I can't trust it'll audibly alert me in time to hazards. it's also crashed a lot lately.
