Need to set up and configure your Tempest Weather System? The Tempest app will walk you through a few simple steps, including connecting your home’s WiFi network. Once you’re up and running the app will quickly become your go-to for real-time weather conditions, lightning and rain alerts, and the most accurate forecast for your location - guaranteed.

Data available in the Tempest app includes:

- Barometric pressure, sea-level pressure, trends
- Lightning detection and alerts up to 40 km
- Wind, UV, solar irradiance
- Rain rate, accumulation, rain onset alerts
- 10-day forecast
- Historical weather data graphs

Ratings and reviews

Normally not a bad app, but not that uncommon for it to indicate data not available on the widgets. Also, yesterday, while getting 0.4" rain the home screen of the app only showed cloudy, it did not show Rain rate, accumulation, as the app descritption says and as it used to. To find that I had to tap on the home screen and look at the stats. Not that helpful.

The best weather station out there for a personal home station. This review is of the app, not the station itself. The app is clean, easy to understand, and has everything you need to see, all in real time. I would ask the developers to address 2 items. 1st, optimize the widgets as they don't properly fit and scale to the box size. They should stretch and scale as you change the size for your needs. 2nd, add the Dew point to the widget. cheers!

Great looking unit, easy install. Looking forward to some severe weather/lightning to see how it performs. Waiting for some rainfall to see how the rain gage works. The app is pretty basic would like to see some upgrades to it. Graphics, guages, and especially a windchill feature. All and all happy thus far. But if you're looking for more traditional information that other weather software provides Tempest is not quite there yet.
