Edit: app "stopped working" because the thermostat failed. Not the Apps fault. Rating changed to 4 for when it was working. Would like to see the app allow multiple scheduled run times to be selected (maybe password protected?). Would also like to see some intelligence in the app to control the heater with a combo of min and max temps in combo with a minimum "burn" time, to ensure the heater runs long enough to avoid soot build up in the combustion chamber.

Downloaded this a month or so ago and worked great until last night (1-15-24) when my engine heater no longer registers via Bluetooth on the app. Bunk heater works fine. I've tried to reset it, Uninstall etc. Nothing works. Update: as of 3-6-24 My bunk heater Bluetooth no longer works either. This app and these control modules are terrible. The heater still works fine, but for the price of all this, I'd expect better. I won't buy again u less it's resolved

I have the problem losing the connection to the SmarTemp controller like so many have reported. I figured out a workaround. Open the app and do what you want. Then close the app. On my phone, I press the square button on the bottom right and then swipe up to close the app. Later, I reopen the app and it connects fine. I just did this for a week on vacation and never had a problem connecting. I have reported this to Webasto so hopefully they can figure out a long term fix. Hope this helps others!
