About this app

WellKept keeps track of what your home needs, so you don't have to hold it in your head.

Tell it what you have — furnace, water heater, dishwasher, the washer-dryer combo in the closet — and it builds a maintenance plan around your actual house. Not a generic checklist. What you're asked to do depends on the equipment you own, the age of the building, and the climate you live in.

A plan built from your home
Enter your address and WellKept pulls public property records — year built, type, size — then asks what equipment you have. A 1978 house with a furnace and a fireplace needs different work than a new-build condo.

It knows the difference between your appliances
A washer-dryer combo isn't a washer plus a dryer. It has a condenser to empty and no vent to clear. A heat pump isn't a furnace. Getting the type right at the start is what makes everything after it correct, so WellKept asks when it isn't sure.

Fill in the details from a photo
Point your camera at the nameplate sticker and WellKept reads the make, model and serial number, then goes looking for the manual.

No invented guilt
If you don't know when the water heater was last flushed, WellKept doesn't tell you you're overdue. It starts a fair clock from today. Mark something done and the next one is scheduled from the date it actually happened — not from when an app first met you.

Work grouped by room
Everything in the utility room in one place, so a Saturday morning is one trip down the stairs instead of six.

Weather that matters
A hard freeze on the way moves the outside tap and the sprinkler line up the list for that week. It doesn't become a permanent new chore.

Share it with the household
Invite whoever else lives there. One home, one plan, and a job stays done whichever of you did it.
