The Whizz App is a companion application to the Whizz spacer to correct inhalation technique. The Whizz spacer is a simple and intuitive solution to improve the management of chronic respiratory conditions, such as asthma and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) by helping users of metered dose inhalers (MDI) increasing the availability of medication delivered into the lungs while tracking intake data to augment the management and assessment of treatment outcomes. The Whizz is the only solution in the market that addresses technique and compliance at the same time, solving the challenges faced by 7 in 10 patients, who struggled with ineffective and inconsistent inhaled medication intake. Through trials, we have shown that the Whizz helped patients overcome these hurdles, leading to reduced symptoms and better quality of life.
