One of the most important features for me, which is advertised as being available, is easy access to the NOAA depth charts... I looked everywhere for it, and even subscribed for a 'premium' trial in the hopes that this would unlock it. I gave up my search after 20 minutes. Why make it so hard to access this? It seems to me that it should be an active / enabled layer by default on an app tailored specifically for sailing, especially when the NOAA charts are free and publicly available.

Hello Tejay! Thanks for the feedback! The fact is that nautical charts are currently only available on iPhones, and we are also actively developing the weather routing feature there. We plan to add all this to Android, but later. We can issue you a refund or transfer a subscription to an iPhone, contact us at windhub@windhub.com.

After my first review, I thought I would have a further insight into the app. To be honest for a first time sight for where you live, boat, camping/van, house, holiday, it certainly gives you a heads up on temperature, wind direction on a local/global view with easy thumb/ index finger scrolling. For a year it's £17.99 which is not that expensive if your a weather fanatic. With this it opens up a whole range of great extras including, percipitation, wind barbs, swells and fronts.

Initial thoughts are that it does not open to where I am! Nor does it give the range of wind (sustained and gusts) also does not give the sailors wind indicator (with tails) so looks and feels more like a toy! I have not subscribed yet, as I want to see how accurate it is first. On first impressions it is a little disappointing, but jury is out, so I'll see. Developers response is flakey too, blaming my location! Poor effort!
