Ratings and reviews

Review is for the cost and free version- it's a pretty good app, though limited on listening exercises, and with too much focus on spelling a constant stream of new vocabulary words. But the price is $12.99 per month, which is awfully high considering that it covers only one language. If you want to study two, like French and Italian, guess what? You have to pay separately for both. If you don't pay, the free version becomes essentially unusable after about 9 lessons.

While it feels less flashy and more basic than Duolingo, I am liking it much better. I'm at level 12 in Italian in the other app, but there are several things that annoy me about it and are only sort of solved if you pay for the app. This app seems more promising in letting you learn vocabulary better, and for someone who is mildly dyslexic, not having to spell things constantly is beneficial.

Not bad, very straight and to the point, with short study sessions so as not to eat away at your spare time; but after a while the lessons start getting cut short by paywalls, at first you lose only some "examples" on grammar use, then you lose some activities... and lastly the "conversations" (audio included) get blocked behind a "premium members only". I'm downloading a new app and maybe using this one as backup practice when I get used to the other apps questions.
