How does it work?
Join and schedule an appointment—Download the app, let us know more about your recovery goals, and schedule an appointment. It only takes a few minutes.

Meet with a provider—Licensed clinicians who actually listen will discuss your care and can prescribe medication to your local pharmacy when appropriate.

Get ongoing support—Follow-up provider appointments will support your recovery, and online recovery groups will help you connect with others and build skills to navigate life sober.

Is insurance accepted?
Workit Health accepts many commercial insurance plans, plus Medicaid and Medicare in many states. Self-pay is also an option in all states. We also have a free preview of the app you can try for no charge.

Where is Workit Health available?
Workit Health’s 100% virtual addiction treatment programs are available in select states. View our locations at workithealth.com/locations.

Is Workit Health effective?
Workit Health’s outcomes meet or surpass those of in-person treatment. A retrospective cohort study of Workit Health members found that the program’s retention rate was 62% at three months. Compare this to 50% three-month retention rates reported in studies of other programs.

In this analysis, 99% of Workit Health members were adherent to the program, testing positive for buprenorphine at all time points. Workit Health members regularly report lower anxiety, reduction of addictive behaviors, greater success in meeting their recovery goals, and an overall improvement in quality of life.

Who are the Workit Health clinicians?
Workit Health’s provider network is made up of licensed clinicians who are devoted to harm reduction, so they really listen and support all recovery goals. These qualified providers are able to prescribe medications to treat opioid and alcohol use disorders as appropriate. Because there are many conditions that frequently go hand-in-hand with addiction, Workit Health clinicians also treat co-occurring anxiety, depression, hepatitis C, HIV prevention, and more.

The app is extremely user friendly and they've made it a point to provide a useful tool to aid anyone dealing with addiction, no matter how "tech savvy" you may be. No skill required! If you even run into an issue, there is someone there to help. This has been the most positive and therapeutic experience. I couldn't thank the entire team at workit enough for providing a superior service. I'm so glad I found WorkIt and I owe it to them for the support, how far I've come, and the person I am today

Edit: the issue finally was resolved, but the lack of communication is still pretty disconcerting. I've heard nothing but great things about this app from people, and have had quite the opposite experience. I've been trying to pick up a prescription for days, and their medical team has been completely unresponsive, and has provided no help whatsoever. It's really effing difficult to try and stay clean when they won't help, let alone respond to any issues. This app has been a complete let down.

Hi Justin! Thank you for your feedback. I escalated this for you and you should be hearing from one of our clinicians soon if you haven't already. Please email support@workithealth.com if we can address any other issues for you. Be well.

Only happy cuz now I can get my meds, but it comes with a price. I have 16 yrs clean and sober and having to take redundant quizzes, texts, etc. Problems with drug testing having to retake them I have MS, and uncontrollable body movements trying to take a clear picture of a tiny screen before your time runs out, isn't very proficient. I've been on suboxone for 16 years with no relapses, moved to FL and feel like I'm being treated like a new to this kinda thing. My counslers and Dr's are nice.

Hi Elizabeth, thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience of the drug testing. Due to state and federal regulations, we need all of our members to comply with drug testing, regardless of sobriety status. If you'd like us to look further into the issue, please email support@workithealth.com or contact your care team. Thank you!
