Ratings and reviews

When I receive a notification sometimes I can't stop what I'm doing to open the app, wait for the page to load etc. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put a picture in the notification to block out the headline, you're the reason I am uninstalling your app. Tell us what's going on, don't force me to have to open the app, especially if it's something important that could mean our safety.

I receive news updates, I click on the story and " update " pops up, click to update but there is NO UPDATE AVAILABLE so I can't see the story I click on because it WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO PROCEED WITHOUT UPDATING !!! SOOOO FRUSTRATING!! About to clear cache and data and uninstall then reinstall to see if the issue continues. if so, I am DONE with this app! If not, then I will update my review but as for NOW, this app sucks!!

The app will not open. Every time I try to open it, it tells me that. an update is available. But when I go to Google Play, there isn't an update. I only get two options, to open or uninstall. I'm not sure what will happen to previous stories I've saved- so I haven't uninstalled the app yet.
