About this app

BOQai helps construction estimators turn drawings into a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) that every number can be traced back to.

DRAWING TAKEOFF
• Open DXF drawings and see lines and polylines with pinch-zoom.
• Show or hide layers, tap a line to pick up its measured length.
• Drawing units are checked; unsupported geometry is reported instead of guessed.

AI-ASSISTED, HUMAN-APPROVED
• The AI assistant proposes wall, floor and count items from the objects on your drawing.
• Quantities are calculated from drawing measurements, never invented by the AI.
• Every result shows its drawing references, layers, inputs, formula and totals. Nothing enters your BOQ until you review it and tap Add.

BOQ YOU CAN TRUST
• Wall area with openings, floor area with deductions, item counts, waste % and material and labour rates.
• Each BOQ row keeps its drawing handles, layers, source and drawing name.
• Save projects as JSON and export the BOQ to CSV for Excel.

REQUIREMENTS
Manual takeoff and saved projects work offline. DXF upload and the AI assistant need an internet connection, an active BOQai subscription and a configured BOQai server. DWG and PDF drawings are not supported yet; export to DXF first.

Always check quantities before issuing a BOQ.
