Ratings and reviews

This app was good, I mean excellent. but now, using it is a nightmare. It just kept logging out, giving connection issues all the time. Uninstalling it soon. I did clear the cache and reinstalled it but it didn't fix the issue. Few of my friends having the same issue, happening of different mobile platforms like both on Android and iOS. So the issue is not isolated to a user/mobile.

Now it won't work with a rooted Android device. Many other large company developed apps, to include international financial companies, work on rooted Andriod phones. The devs of this app don't want to take the time to secure their app; or they have something else they are trying to do on your device that a rooted device is able to block. Either way, this was a good app. Now there are other highly rated choices doing the same thing.

Helpful app. Biggest flaw is needing to turn off automatic exchange rate updates, otherwise the app freezes whenever the network connection is lost instead of caching and using the previous set of exchange rates. Which in turn results in often using old exchange rates even when having a good connection (as one must then manually refresh). So this might not be much better than using a calculator and doing rough calculations, even though the interface is otherwise good.
