You had a good reason for that screenshot. Days later you cannot remember it, and the shot you need is buried under thousands.

Recall AI gathers the screenshots already on your phone — products, receipts, tickets, bookings, lecture slides — reads the text inside them (OCR), and works out what each is about. Then you ask the way you would say it: "the laptop under $1,000 I saw last month".

■ Private by design

All analysis happens on your device. Screenshots hold private chats, account numbers and medical results. Recall AI never sends your images, the recognised text or your queries to a server, and never copies your originals into the app. Search works in airplane mode.

■ It connects shots, not just stores them

Save a flight, a hotel, a rental car and a restaurant separately and the app groups them into one memory: "Jeju trip". Open one and it shows why you probably saved it, plus the related shots.

■ Automatic sorting that declutters your gallery

Shopping, travel, food, fashion, beauty, study, work, finance, health, entertainment, social, news, tech, home, events and documents — sixteen categories. Wrong one? Fix it on the detail screen; it survives a re-analysis.

■ Search the way you speak

"Restaurants I saved in Jeju last month" splits period, place and category by itself. "Black sneakers around $150" finds black shoes between $120 and $180. Type "laptop" and a "notebook" still comes up. Every result explains in one line why it matched.

■ Bringing the original link back

Even with no address visible, Recall AI builds an openable link from what is left — an account handle, a truncated domain, a shop name. With no clue it invents nothing, and this runs on your device too.

■ Memories and the knowledge graph

Shots sharing a place, product or store become one memory automatically. See it as a graph, rename it, or break it apart. A collection can be sent as a readable list. Anything inferred is labelled a guess, with a confidence percentage.

■ Cleanup that frees storage

It finds exact duplicates, near-identical screens, shots with almost no readable text, and files untouched for a long time. Nothing is deleted automatically — you pick from a list, and the gallery original stays.

■ Quick actions

Open the original link, see the place on a map, call or text, add the date to your calendar, turn it into a note, share it — and never a button without data behind it.

■ Plans

· Free: keep and organise up to 200 screenshots, with sorting, natural-language search and duplicate cleanup included.
· Watch an ad: only when you choose to, a short rewarded ad unlocks more AI questions for the day, or the knowledge graph. No banner or interstitial ads.
· Recall Pro (subscription): unlimited storage and AI assistant, knowledge graph, advanced cleanup and export. Cancel any time; cancelling never deletes what you saved.

· Photo access — to find the screenshots already on your device.
· INTERNET is declared by the Google Play Services text-recognition library and by the billing and ads libraries. The app's own code never sends your images or the recognised text anywhere.
· Camera, microphone, location and contacts are never requested.

Q. Does it work without internet?
A. Search and sorting do. A connection is needed only the first time the text-recognition model downloads.

Q. How do I turn off personalised ads?
A. Settings › Privacy › "Turn off personalised ads" is on by default. Leave it on and your advertising ID is not used for personalised advertising.
