About this app

Yarai scores skincare ingredients by how much is in the formula, not just whether they appear. It reads any label with no barcode, estimates each ingredient's rough concentration from INCI list position, and analyzes your entire routine for graded conflicts with severity reasoning.

An honest score, not a verdict.

Here's something most skincare apps won't tell you: nobody outside the lab knows the exact concentrations in your bottle. Brands are only required to list ingredients in order of how much is in the formula, from most to least. That order is real information: it's the difference between a product built around an active and one where that active is a rounding error near the bottom of the label. So we read it, carefully, and estimate from it.

But an estimate is what it is, and we'd rather say so than dress it up. Your 0-to-100 score is built from that ordering, with formulation context applied wherever we can actually verify it. It's honest math, not a measurement, and it was never meant to be a diagnosis. Use it the way it's good for: comparing two products side by side, catching the thing on the label worth a second look, walking into the store knowing which question to ask. A number that helps you think is worth more than a verdict that asks you to stop.
