About this app

ListenToMe reads PDFs, photos, and scanned documents aloud by turning them into spoken audiobooks with OCR and text-to-speech. It is designed from the ground up for blind and visually impaired users, with full TalkBack support and large, simple controls.

How it works:
1. Sign in with Google.
2. Tap Upload File and pick a PDF or photo.
3. Wait while the document is converted into clear, natural speech.
4. Tap the book to listen — pause, rewind, change speed, or seek.

• 25 languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese, Nepali, Sanskrit, Urdu, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese
• Listen in your own language — documents can be translated as they are converted
• Background playback with lock-screen controls
• Saves your position so you can pick up where you left off
• Variable playback speed from 0.75x to 2x
• Books are stored on your device after first download — listen offline
• Delete books to free space at any time
