It did not work after my card expiry changed, transactions were being declined despite uodating and then recreating the payment card profile. The support team were earnest and sorted the issue. They contacted me and lived up to their commitments. The app worked perfectly the next time I used it.

Great app which I have used frequently for at least a year. However, I've recently updated my phone to Nougat and zapper is being picked up as the number 1 culprit for eating battery in the background. Up to 1% per hour. Please address this, it's a considerable problem.

The SMS verification system did not work, even after giving it ample time (it took 15 minutes to show up). It just repeatedly threw an error dialog, never giving me the option to call me instead - I had to wait for it to call me eventually.

Please add fingerprint authentication as a protection measure to secure transactions. At this stage SnapScan seems to be less bloated, more reliable, faster, more secure and generally more convenient to use.

There's a few very small features that would be great to see...like report a merchant "not a zapper vendor" when zapper shows them as a merchant. Also an option to "delete all" or "delete all selected" under vouchers. Would also like to see a "enter pin code" to open the app too.

Updated 27 June: This feature is on our road map and will be implemented soon. Until then please open Zapper, choose "Settings" from the menu, select Privacy Settings "Password to apply to all actions" and set your "Prompt before sending Zapper account". Keep an eye out for some very exciting performance and feature enhancements in the near future! Excellent and easy to use app. Payments are super fast. Please note that our Banking department did not pick up a specific issue as to why your bank is declining payments thus they advised you to contact your bank to find out why they are declining the payments.Update: Certain banks have implemented card updates. Please add an alternative bank card to continue transacting with Zapper. I have used this app twice for donations via card and it worked fantastic and is easy to use. Thank you for this helpful tool.

Thanks for your feedback Michael. Certain banks have implemented card updates. Please could we ask you to check in with your bank to make sure that this has not affected you. Make sure that your card has not expired as this too could cause declined transactions. Does not work on my Samsung galaxy grand prime qr code is elongated on the screen and won't scan

If 64% of your reviews are 3 star and under, perhaps you should start listening and fix your app. Most of those are 1 star, then you really shouldn't be developing apps. Tldr; they're unethical and shouldn't be trusted with your information. Read on for full review. Word of warning before you trust Zapper with you personal information. In my experience, loyalty programs run indefinitely. To expire a loyalty program says to your customer that our loyalty is just a way to incentivise us to spend more. Not sure who implemented the expiry date between Zapper and Roccomamas but I won't use either again. You could argue that the expiry is listed on the card which is my bad for not seeing. In my defence, I've never ever used a loyalty program that expired. Yes, some die out eventually. Perhaps, the ethical thing to do is, to list a loyalty card that expires soon as expiring soon so they know that they can't possibly use it by expiry. Knowing this and that they can't seem to get the basic service to work according to the majority of reviews here. I wonder where on their backend there are problems and how secure your data is.
