This used to be a great app to use when buying and selling real estate. I am no longer able to efficiently utilize this service as I am not able to edit my prices. I enter my listing now and have to wait for a few days for a verification to see if I know what the price is. I am not able to edit it, if I cannot match the secret number, then I have to attempt to begin again and wait for someone to call to match it. I ask for help when they call, they tell me that they must remove the listing and I will have to start over. I am very disappointed and will move onto Craigslist. They do not have anyone to assist when they call. This is not a very good way of doing business. I am very disappointed as I previously really appreciated Zillow. I do suppose realtors are very happy about this.
This app WAS really awesome.. But then it stopped updating properly - all of the local listings disappeared from my Zillow map (I know they still exist because I can pull them up using my favorites list). I checked my settings and my filters, rebooted the app & device.. I even tried deleting the app & reinstalling it, but nothing worked. I thought it might be my network, but I've logged into multiple different networks and the problem persists, so at this point I have to assume it's the app. It's a shame, since this app was easily a five-star up until this problem started a couple weeks ago.
Searching and viewing homes is totally unusable if you dont give google play services permissions to your camera, contacts, or phone. You just get continuous popop warnings. Why not just give a warning if you try to use a feature that uses the camera, contacts, or phone? Poorly written app
Love Zillow. The only feature I think is missing is that you don't show the crime in the area like Trulia. That is something that many people find important and often times when I am on Zillow, I will have both apps (or web pages) open, so I can search for the listing on Trulia just to see the crime stats. Hope you update that soon bc Trulia is killing you on that.
All the sudden it won't pull up ANY houses for sale in my area so I went to the MLS site just to see if there were any or not and there are quite a few, guess this app no longer works right.
It's OK, but there are problems like, people trying to sell garbage houses to people that are all tore apart, or there are many houses for sale in real life that aren't even labeled on the app, even though they are sold under the same seller. Where are all the other houses because this is a false representation of how many are really for sale. All of that is pretty frustrating for someone whose been homeless for just short of four years, with my veteran husband. Feels like we are either supposed to own garbage we can never afford to fix, or stay homeless because of cold temperatures. Thees also other sellers that purposely misrepresent a house size or property size with how the pictures are taken, and what's left out of the pictures, (besides the labeling of the square feet of the house) or only post 2 pictures of either the same picture or only outside so you have no idea what the inside looks like, which actually leads to taking it as garbage because there's obviously something the seller doesn't want you to see or know until after you purchase it
