Sending out a TXT is now instant. The user can send to family, friend or groups instantly. Letting sports teams know that the game or training is cancelled is now as simple as a gesture and send. ‘Are you free for coffee’ to your coffee group is now an instant TXT, or let your partner know ‘Ill be home in 45 minutes’.
Description of Use
When opening Instant TXT the initial Message screen will show incoming TXTs to reply to. Hit reply, gesture required reply and send, the pre-loaded reply will be sent back to the original contact. In this screen the user can tap new to send out a txt with a gesture. Gesture on the screen to bring up message and attach contact if required. Tap ‘send’ to TXT. You can switch between your loaded word or sentence with a slide of the switch slider.
If contacts are pre loaded in the Settings screen the gestured message will be sent out to those contacts.
When replying to incoming TXTs the user could have pre loaded messages for situations where time is limited or discression is required, such as when driving you could have ‘I am currently driving and will contact you when I’m free’ attached to a simple gesture. Allowing instant reply without distraction. If in a board meeting the user could have ‘ I am sorry, I am in a meeting and will get in contact when I am done’ and send by using your pre-loaded gesture without the obvious distraction of replying.
The Gesture screen is where new gestures are generated, either as a single word or sentences. Contacts can be added and the new gesture saved.
The Settings screen allows you to edit the app. Display message can be set on or off to bring incoming TXTs into instant TXT. The duration that the app will hold the message can be altered so you have more time to reply. This is set in seconds. You can alter the gesture mode here as the default, either as word or sentence so when first opening the app the message screen will operate on your choice of word or sentence. Remember that in the message screen you can still switch between the two options of word and sentence with the switch slider. ‘Show Gesture’ is where you edit your gestures; you can change all the settings including word or sentence structure, the gesture and contacts. This is where you can delete saved gestures as required.
