Great app, adding new features with every update. The Seestar S50 itself is designed and built well for what is does/has. The system to update firmware via the app update works flawlessly, better than competitors' apps and most astrophotography equipment. The device firmware had some quirks (e.g related to "Horizon calibration"/platesolving) in the past, but the bugs are addressed with recent updates.

So far so good, a few issues. Compass calibration needs work. Missed the sun first 2 goes but 3rd time lucky. M31 went well, will try to enhance a little to see. Agree we need mosaic mode. Need exposure override to get planetary photos. But enjoying after 1 day/night. Will update more as I get to use more. Now got a smudge on sensor by the looks. ZWO site to return is not fit for purpose, can never log in to raise a ticket.

Awesome app to find stars, learn what stars are available at your location and what time and angle. After that, one click and the connect telescope will automatic move into position. After taking photos of stars/moon/sun, you can share it to community and also check out where and what other users nearby are doing. Love how they digitized the astrophotography community and made it easy for entry-level.
