With HoppyGo car sharing, you can easily rent from more than 1 500 cars directly from the owners. At the same time, if your own car is parked in the lot far too often, you can join hundreds of car owners and start earning money by renting it to the others. HoppyGo will be your middleman.

1) Create an account
Signing up, filling in your profile and uploading necessary documents takes only a couple of minutes of your time. The approval process then takes less than 24 hours.

2) Choose your car
Pick whichever car fits your need, choose the time of your rental and select your pickup location. All you have to do now is to wait for the approval from the owner. We recommend requesting multiple cars in case of some owners being busy. Finally, payment for the rental happens through app. You pay only for the car that has approved your rental first.

3) Pick up your car or have it delivered to your doorstep
Communicate with the car owner via the HoppyGo app. Then meet the owner, go through the handover procedure and hit the road. You don’t have to worry, all rentals are insured to cover both drivers and owners.

2) Fill in the rental details
Set the price for which you will rent your car and use our calendar to choose the times when your car is available.

Communicate with a driver beforehand and upload photos while handing the keys over for insurance purposes. You don’t have to worry, all rentals are insured to cover both drivers and owners.

4) Collect the money
The money arrives to your bank account in less than a week after the rental is finished.

Ratings and reviews

The app is really bad, filtering by price and distance doeant work most of the time, then you see amazing daily rates, but suddenly these become much higher in the TOTAL amount without any indication what's making the difference... Why would anyone use this service is beyond me... Both regular carsharing and rental companies are cheaper and more convenient...

I was charged for fuel consumption in one of my rides. The next ride I ordered, the car was returned with excess fuel. I didn't receive a refund for the fuel? You respond that, Unfortunately, your system cannot count for a positive difference in fuel, only a negative one. If necessary, I can contact the vehicle owner to refund the difference. How can anyone actually return a car with the exact amount of initial fuel? It's just not humanly possible. Customers must suffer all the losses then.

Bombards you with spam notifications (hey you should go take a trip this weekend!), the app does not allow to turn those off without also turning useful notifications like messages from car owners. Notification channels exist in Android for years now. I don't think users sending emails to request stop of notifications on a device is the correct way to do this - it's not systemic approach.
