The My BMW App is optimised for vehicles built from 2014 onwards. The availability of individual app functions depends on your vehicle equipment and your BMW ConnectedDrive contract. The availability of app functions may vary between countries.

Ratings and reviews

Since update in November, the map has stopped showing on the mobile app. In the area of the map only car is shown, also dot/point of destination but streets/roads do not appear at all. Last update on the 04 Dec didn't make any difference. Before November update - everything was working fine. Please fix it. Also, tyre pressure monitor need to be giving some... Today is showing "check pressure", pressure is 2.6 but recommended 2.7 because of the weather temperature. Tomorrow weather is change...

It's still not possible to use multiple accounts and remote heating is still unreliable (especially during colder weather), even after 3 years. What is also unbelievable, is that the app doesn't send me a notification if the car is unlocked, or the windows are open. The comfort key is buggy and does not always lock the car, so a notification about this (and the open window) would be essential. And why can't I close the open window remotely? Now with the first snow, "something went wrong" is back

Absolutely shocking poor App. When it does an update wipes everything and when I try to access the App again for my car in Portugal, it does not work. My car is a Portuguese car and then tells me to call a number. Turns out the number is a UK number and they can't help and they don't even have the contact number for the connected drive team in Portugal. Doesn't anyone test this App before releasing a version to ensure it should still work afterwards with minimal intervention.
