The My BMW App is optimised for vehicles built from 2014 onwards. The availability of individual app functions depends on your vehicle equipment and your BMW ConnectedDrive contract. The availability of app functions may vary between countries.

Ratings and reviews

I Really like this app I often park at airports so being able to check the status of the car is a fantastic reassurance. Also flashing the lights and finding its position. One suggestion whilst nice to know tyre pressures would also be great to know battery voltage when parked for extended periods.

Generally solid, as you would expect from a premium brand like BMW. One gripe...after the latest update, the battery level and electric-only range do not always appear on the main screen. Please put both back! Oh yes, when viewing on a tablet in landscape mode, the charging graphic now shows the cable hanging in free space and not connected to the car...weird. Possibly a little more testing required!

Unfortunately, following the most recent significant update of the app, as a hybrid user, I am unable to view the current charge level or the fuel percentage on the main menu. I am required to navigate to one of the cards, and even there, the information is somewhat limited. It appears that the update primarily focused on visual appeal rather than enhancing the user experience.
