WHY ENGRAIN
- Smart scheduling with FSRS, the modern spaced repetition algorithm. Classic SM-2 is included too.
- Bring your decks along: opens your Anki decks (.apkg and .colpkg) with media, note types and review history.
- AI that saves hours: turn a photo of your notes, a PDF, a web page or just a topic into cards you can study right away.
- Understand, not just memorize: tap Explain for a clear explanation, a mnemonic or an example sentence.
- Works offline. Your collection stays on your device.
- A calm, beautiful design with dark mode, haptics and gestures on phones and tablets.

CREATE CARDS WITH AI
- From a topic, for example "Krebs cycle, 25 cards"
- From pasted text or your own notes
- From a photo of a textbook page or handwritten notes
- From a PDF or a web link
Choose how many cards, the card type (basic, reversed or cloze) and the language. Review the list, edit or drop cards, then add them to a deck.

STUDY THAT FITS YOUR DAY
- Tap or swipe to answer Again, Hard, Good or Easy, with the next interval shown on every button
- Your own tap zones, swipe actions and toolbar
- Daily goal, streaks and a summary after every session
- Undo, bury, suspend, flag and edit while you study
- Audio playback, text to speech, voice recording and a scratchpad for writing practice
- Type-in answers with an AI check that accepts synonyms and small typos

POWERFUL WHEN YOU NEED IT
- Cloze deletions, image occlusion, audio, images and LaTeX math
- Edit note types and card templates right on your device
- Card browser with full search syntax and bulk actions
- Custom study sessions and filtered decks
- Detailed statistics: heatmap, forecast, true retention, intervals and more
- Personal scheduling: optimize FSRS to your own review history
- Import CSV and text, export decks as .apkg, automatic backups
