About this app

OpenCCTV turns the IP cameras you already own into a complete security system that you control. The app connects to your own OpenCCTV server, an open-source camera server and recorder that runs on a Linux box, a Mac, a Windows PC, a NAS with Docker or a small cloud server.

WORKS WITH YOUR CAMERAS
• TP-Link Tapo, Eufy (RTSP models), UniFi Protect, Reolink, Hikvision, Dahua, Amcrest, Axis, Foscam, EZVIZ, Imou, Annke and every ONVIF or RTSP camera
• Cameras can also push their stream to the server over RTMP or RTSP
• Network discovery and brand presets: no stream URLs to look up

LIVE VIEW
• Grid of all cameras with live status
• Full screen with pinch to zoom, swipe between cameras, HD and SD stream
• Low-latency mode, snapshots, two-way audio and PTZ on supported cameras

RECORDING AND PLAYBACK
• 24/7 or motion-only recording on your server
• Timeline per day with motion markers, scrubbing and 1x to 8x speed
• Export and share clips

CLOUD BACKUP ON YOUR TERMS
• Recordings are copied to Google Drive, S3, FTP, SFTP, SMB, WebDAV, Dropbox, OneDrive or stay on local disk
• Automatic cleanup after the number of days you choose
• Gives cameras without an SD card or cloud plan a real recorder

ALERTS
• Motion events with snapshots
• Push notifications per camera, sent by your own server

REMOTE ACCESS
• Use a gateway to reach your home server from anywhere without port forwarding, or connect over your VPN
• Pair a phone in seconds by scanning the QR code from the server

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account with us, no ads, no tracking. The app only talks to the server you add. Video never passes through our systems.
