I love this, no extra stuff, just the timer and a gentle gong as a reminder but being able to see how many sessions I did so far would be nice. (I did 415 minutes in total but if I could see the number of sessions like in a stat that would've been cool!)

Thank you so much. After 120 minutes the total meditation time will be shown, instead of the amount of sessions - but thats a nice idea as well!

This would be perfect but my pixel 8 doesn't allow it to run in the background, so with the screen off it doesn't chime 😔

You are right, the app only works with the screen turned on. Creating an "alarm clock" sadly is a very special thing on modern phones and as this is my free hobby app, this was out of scope. That being said, the app enters an energy saving mode during meditation (screen darkens, CPU/GPU usage heavily reduced), so battery drain is minimized!

I have tried quite a few meditation apps. This, in my opinion, is the simplest and the best ... by a country mile.
