Pay with the app
Simply hold your smartphone against the terminal. Thanks to the app's unlocking function, you no longer need a PIN to pay.

Use Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken cards
Order a new digital girocard in the app or reactivate it on another device. Simply store your Visa or Mastercard digitally in the app.

Keep an eye on payments
Always keep an eye on payments thanks to the overview in the app.

High security standards
The same security standards apply to paying with the app as to physical debit and credit cards. If necessary, cards can also be activated or deactivated for payment.

• a payment account with a participating Volksbank Raiffeisenbank
• a valid TAN procedure (Sm@rtTan, SecureGo plus)
• active access to online banking
• an NFC-enabled smartphone

Usage notice
To pay with the app, the smartphone's NFC function must be activated.

Ratings and reviews

App is clunky. Requires multiple clicks to enable payment. Even when you use the App, terminals sometimes require the card to be inserted (which is obviously not possible with a phone). So you have literally no advantage over the physical card, because I can't rely solely on the App, if I need the card anyway. Furthermore the App always advertises its banking app, requiring even more clicks for payments.

I would like to inquire about the circumstances under which the application transmits NFC data and when it does not. Additionally, would it be possible to include a button to toggle the card status between "active" and "passive"? This would help minimise the duration of the window during which data can be accessed. Apart from that, the application is excellent. I appreciate that the name is displayed in black on the card, making it difficult to tamper with, and it is flawless on GrapheneOS!

very useless app. everytime I wanna pay, the app requires to enter the PIN, right when a cue waiting behind me. why not requiring when open the app in advance ?
